This is the time each year, when we
reflect on all our reasons to be thankful, and begin to express our
appreciation to our heavenly Father for all our blessings. I am
grateful for a home church where The
Holy Spirit is
so welcome to manifest His presence, and the church family is so
loving and involved in helping one another. Obviously, our pastors
are exceptional in their giftings, and down to earth, approachable
servants! I am blessed to be part of this church family that stand
by Mom and me, as well as others. Thank you Lord!
As we look forward to our gatherings for both
Thanksgiving
and Christmas,
let us all focus on what will most please the Master. There is NO
NEED in the character of God, but He desires our love and
companionship, thus I want to give Him the very best! He is my life
and breath, and I am absolutely nothing without Him. With Him, I can
do all things, and my greatest gift to Him beyond daily communion
and obedience, is souls. This season is for giving and sharing, and
I want to give Jesus to those who do not know Him. I want to share
His love with hurting people in my world, and you don't have to go
very far to find people who need a listening ear, or a
kind word of
encouragement! My first priority is loving Him, then my Mom,
who so needs me, and finally anyone else God sends for me to help.
If I do these things, I feel His heart will be made glad, and He
will be blessed by my life!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas, and let us all begin
the year 2010 determined to show our thanksgiving to our Master
every day, and give Jesus to as many as we can.
Bless you all,
Gloria
