Meaningful Moments

Please remember the old song that says, " oh to be His hands extended, reaching out to the oppressed, let me touch Him, let me touch Jesus, so that others may know and be blessed." Friends, I have been overwhelmed by God's love shown to me through my home church in Branson and friends from around the nation who have known about my Mom falling and breaking her right hip! God's people have shown how beautifully it works to reach out and sometimes sacrifice to give of ourselves to others, and it makes all the difference in the world! Jesus did not say we would be known as His disciples by our casting out devils, or healing the sick, or how gifted or talented we are ......... But By Our Love! As the end is approaching, please reach out, go the extra mile, sacrifice some of your time and money to help another, and ask nothing in return. Watch God do amazing things in you, through you, then for you and your household!!

This trip to Southern California for ministry, has proven to be such a powerful time of God ministering in my life, through my life, and it has refreshed me for upcoming services in other states. Colman and Betty McDuff, their church family, and some of my other friends here in S.Ca. have gone above and beyond the call of duty, just to be God's hands to touch and bless me.

I will pass it on and on, and I pray we will catch the vision of how important this message is in these last days, when there are so many hurting people in our world. We must reach the lost at any cost, but we must also help others already in the family of God!!

Bless you all,

Gloria

To follow up on the last word I shared with you, on being armored up, I want to encourage you to think on these truths from God's Word!

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and fulfill the law of Christ.
Hebrews 10: 24&25 Don't forsake assembling yourselves together, as some are, but exhort, stir up love and good works, and so much more as you see the Day ( end ) approaching.

How is it that we say we are lovers of God, yet we seem to love the world and hang out more all week with people who either are not at all interested in spiritual things, or unsaved people with whom we should have very little in common. If the unsaved are your focus, then love them, help them, and take them to church! You might say, if we are spending so much time going to church 3 or 4 times a week, we have less time with family and people who don't go to church much at all or unsaved who so need our attention. Let's say for a moment this is true. Well if families really took Sunday evenings to, for instance, share Godly activities together, or have a Christian movie night, or relax in a wholesome atmosphere at home together. The word to watch is Together, because statistics show families are not using that Sunday evening to spend time together, instead every family member seems to be doing their own thing, including Mom and Dad. All week long people serve some master at work, then devote time to shop, exercise, go to movies, play games, or as kids say " hang out ". Have we grown so uninterested in spiritual things that 2 or 3 hours a week is all we even desire to spend in worship and fellowship with our church family? How many hours all week we devote to everything and everyone else, but now our church leaders dismiss Sunday night church so we can have even more time to devote to something other than church. You do the math, since we are given 24 hours every day, 7 days a week, and only spend 3 or 4 hours out of all that time bearing one another's burdens of assembling together to exhort, love and pray together, something in America is very wrong! No wonder we have leaders who think they can choose Godless policies for us, and won't meet with much resistence. We have become numbed to what is going on, because we are not living in God's Word, not praying enough, and not bearing one another's burdens and assembling together enough! Remember, there is strength in numbers, and we better be coming together as often as possible to help encourage each other. Please pray God will get the attention of church leaders in America, to minister under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and be more serious about drawing people together, than ever before. I believe, after seeing my home church, and ministering in churches that still have evening service on Sunday, IF the Holy Spirit is allowed to move, you will have people drawn to the services.

It would make sense that, if we love people, we should long to spend time with them, and that goes for God and our brothers and sisters in Christ! We should be scheduling more services instead of less - IF we truly believe Jesus us coming soon. Keep looking up, and find a church with Sunday evening service if you're longing for more time with the family of God!

Bless you all,

Gloria

The Full Armor

According to Ephesians 6, we must be  prepared and fully armed to stand in these last days. How timely this passage is for stressing obedience to parents, then parents training up their children in the admonition of the Lord.
Next we are reminded to serve on our jobs as unto the Lord, and if a business owner, to show the spirit of Christ to employees, and for both to do what is done as unto Jesus.

The weapons we must have in these last days, to fight against the powers of darkness, are certainly described as spiritual! The Armor that will cover us from head to feet, is basically the WORD of GOD. Over and over we are instructed to put on, and I believe, KEEP on the Armor of GOD!

       Truth, God's Word (Hebrews 10:35-36).

Righteousness, not ours, but His (Phillipians 1:11).

Feet readied for battle (2 Sam.22:33-37).

Shield of faith protects us from the arrows of the enemy (Hebrews 11).

Helmet of salvation (our hope of salvation - NIV).

Sword of the Spirit, again the WORD of GOD!

Lastly, that we pray in the Spirit in ALL things.... be alert and keep praying for one another! We can stand firmly in these last days, not being moved or afraid IF we have done ALL the above. Let's meet together, stand together, pray together, and be armored up together!

He arose!  He Arose!

How wonderful to know OUR REDEEMER LIVES!  When the world is reeling and filled with anxiety and fear, we have every reason to REJOICE and walk forward with our heads held high.

Unlike other religions or those with no religion, we have real relationship with our living God who calls us His own and assures us He will be with us whether through flame or flood (Isaiah 43)!  He walks with us and talks with us but we must stay close to him and listen for His voice so that we may avoid many of the attacks against us in these last days.

Close out other voices at some point every day and be sure you are hearing from God.  We will be covered by His powerful hand.

Remember He IS ALIVE and we can face tomorrow without fear.  Have a blessed Easter.

Love and prayers,

Gloria

TRUST IS A CHOICE

This new year presents, probably, the greatest opportunity of my lifetime to really trust God! Psalm 37:3 reminds us to trust God and obey Him, then He will provide for us to be fed and cared for, even to give us true rest in Him. When people say " if I could just understand ", concerning some issue in life that they are confused and perplexed by, they are really saying, "God I just don't trust you"! The Lord spoke so clearly to me years ago and reminded me, when you and I insist that we need to understand, we are basically saying we don't trust God. When we truly trust God we DO NOT have to understand, for if we did understand, we would not have to trust. Once again, let's get this into our Spirit, trusting God means, WE DO NOT HAVE TO UNDERSTAND!!

In 2009 we will, and have already, seen and heard things, that may cause us concern or even fear, but remember God is totally trustworthy, He cannot fail, He loves us, AND IF WE CHOOSE EVERY DAY, TO TRUST AND OBEY, HE WILL PROVIDE, PROTECT, AND GIVE US REST.

Whatever you are facing, remember who is walking with you, and HE will NEVER leave you! Happy Happy New Year, and may you choose every day to place all your trust in Him.

Integrity....Godly character....The Anointing of The Precious Holy Spirit

How often lately, I have spoken about these three very important ingredients for any true Christian's life, including my own! These cannot be purchased, no matter how much money we have, and would be willing to pay. We are living in a day when it seems that we tend to depend on what WE know, or what gifts WE have to reach this hurting world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How gracious is our heavenly Father to bless us with His gifts and the ability to learn, but these must be fully surrendered back to Him, for us to be people of integrity, Godly character, and have His precious anointing! It is through hard times, and even people that we love rubbing us the wrong way, that we become tenderized, but also toughened up enough to attain these wonderful attributes of our heavenly Father. Whether it is a family member, friend or foe, we must learn to accept, that God often uses them to teach us, humble us and help us grow. As this verse reminds us, IRON SHARPENS IRON! Proverbs 27:17
I am asking God to use anyone He chooses to teach me, and to take me wherever I must go to learn that, just as respect is earned, these wonderful attributes of His character are cultivated. We can never replace anointed lives of integrity, and Godly character, with ultra high tech productions by highly gifted and skilled performers, and believe that they will see Jesus!! He is all we need and He alone can change an individual life. He shares His glory with no one, yet it certainly appears to the world around us, that we often boast of our education, gifts, talents and high tech productions, which do draw large crowds, as though it is something great we have done. If ever we reach a place of feeling we pulled it off, we have lost all integrity, Godly character, and we will grieve the Holy Spirit and lose the anointing!
Let us always remember, it is not by might, nor by power, but my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6. May we embrace the difficult people and situations in our lives, and instead of saying " that person just rubs me the wrong way ", may we ask the Lord to use them as sand paper in our lives to make us more like Jesus. I believe with all my heart that we develop these beautiful attributes in our walk of faith, by listening, not saying " yes I know.....yes I know ", because no one knows it all, except the Father. He will use strange
happenings and even, strange people { strange to us }, to teach us and make us vessels of honor for Him!
I have had to repent so many times for complaining about things that have come my way, and people too, for that matter, when all along God was using them to help me see my need for repentance.
In closing, I say again, I want to be like Jesus in every way! I realize that none of us will be totally like Jesus, until we see Him face to face, but we will come closer every day, if we place great importance on these three
beautiful attributes.....integrity......Godly character......and His precious anointing!
